Dhole Patil College of Engineering (DPCOE) observed the auspicious occasion of Gurupurnima on July 10, 2025, celebrating the vital role of educators in shaping society. The event was organized under the esteemed guidance of Hon. Chairman Shri Sagar Dhole Patil, honoring teachers and the spirit of learning.

Heads of Departments shared their views on the importance of educators, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing. Many faculty members shared their thoughts about teaching, continuous learning, and helping students. They also spoke about how teaching is not just a job but a lifelong responsibility.

Principal Dr. Abhijit Dandavate appreciated the faculty’s dedication to motivating students, and appreciation letters were distributed for their excellent work in various departments, such as Training and Placement, NPTEL, Lab Developments etc among others. The event was a heartfelt tribute to the teaching fraternity, reinforcing the college’s commitment to a supportive and inspiring educational environment.

Expert session on Social Media Marketing

Under the guidance and continuous support of Hon. Chairman Shri. Sagar Dhole Patil Sir and Hon. Secretary Mrs. Uma Sagar Dhole Patil Madam and Respected Principal Dr. Abhijit Dandavate Sir, the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department organized two days Expert session on “Social Media Marketing”for SE students from E&TC, Computer and Automobile engineering departments of Dhole Patil College of Engineering from 28.7.2025 to 29.7.2025 at 11:15:00am to 1:15pm.

The Expert session was conducted by Mr .Krishna Bhosale, CEO and Founder of Digital Hazk Zone to strengthen the concept of newly added subject offered as open elective for SE students.The session was started with the felicitation of the expert by HOD of E&TC department Prof.Neha Dumne.

The objective of the session was to provide insights into the rapidly evolving world of social media and its significance in the modern digital landscape.

During the lecture, the expert covered a wide range of topics, including:

  • The evolution and growth of social media platforms.
  • Key trends in digital engagement, influencer culture, and content marketing.
  • The role of algorithms and analytics in shaping online visibility.
  • Ethical considerations and the impact of social media on mental health.
  • Career opportunities and skill sets required in social media management.

The session was highly interactive, with students and faculty actively participating in discussions and Q&A. The speaker also demonstrated case studies of successful brand campaigns and explained the importance of building a personal digital brand.

Outcome of the Session:

  • Enhanced awareness among students about the strategic use of social media.
  • Encouragement to explore career paths in digital marketing and media management.
  • Motivation to use social media responsibly and effectively.

Around 100+ students and faculty members attended the session. The event concluded with a vote of thanks expressing gratitude to the speaker for their valuable insights and to the organizers for arranging such an informative session.
