Dhole Patil College of Engineering (DPCOE), Pune, had the esteemed honor of welcoming Shri B.R. Shankaranand Ji, Akhil Bharatiya Sangathan Mantri, Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal, for an enlightening session on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS).

The event began with a traditional Ganesh Aarti, followed by a brief introduction to DPCOE’s vision and achievements by students. A multimedia showcase celebrated the college’s academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular highlights.

Students from various technical clubs exhibited innovations in Drone Technology, Robotics, Space Communication (Antariskha Club), and Automotive Design (Team Screwdriver). Their outreach to mentor school students reflected DPCOE’s strong community engagement.

A felicitation ceremony honored students excelling in academics, cybersecurity, sports, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

During the interactive session, Shri Shankaranand Ji answered insightful questions from students and faculty on NEP implementation, IKS integration, curriculum reforms, teacher development, and promotion of Indian languages. His guidance reinforced the importance of value-based education and India’s vision of becoming a Vishwaguru (Global Knowledge Leader).

The session was deeply appreciated by students, who found it inspiring and transformative. The event concluded with actionable recommendations, including curriculum enrichment, faculty training, and outreach initiatives.
