Overview

The SIH (Smart India Hackathon) 48 Hrs Internal Hackathon #2024 is an intensive coding competition designed to foster innovation, creativity, and teamwork among students. Over the course of 48 hours, participants will collaborate in teams to develop software solutions addressing real-world challenges.

Event Objectives

• Day 1 (October 17, 2024):
  • 9:00 AM: Registration and Team Formation
  • 10:00 AM: Opening Ceremony and Introduction
  • 11:00 AM: Problem Statements Release
  • 12:00 PM: Hacking Begins
  • Lunch Break
  • 1:00 PM: Hacking Continues
  • Evening Mentoring Sessions: Teams can seek guidance from mentors.
• Day 2 (October 18, 2024):
  • 9:00 AM: Hacking Resumes
  • 12:00 PM: Final Coding Phase
  • 1:00 PM: Submission of Projects
  • 2:00 PM: Project Presentations
  • 4:00 PM: Judging and Feedback
  • 5:00 PM: Closing Ceremony and Awards Distribution

Team Structure

• Each team will consist of 6 students, encouraging diverse skill sets and collaboration.
• Teams are encouraged to assign roles (e.g., developer, designer, project manager) to streamline the development process.

Judging Criteria

Projects will be evaluated based on:

• Innovation: Originality and creativity of the solution.
• Technical Complexity: Use of advanced technologies and coding practices.
