Objectives of the Program
- Introduce students to international skilling opportunities and global learning platforms.
- Familiarize participants with partner universities and industry collaborations across multiple countries.
- Enhance awareness of emerging technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, and AR/VR.
- Promote experiential learning through industry tours, internships, and immersion programs.
- Encourage entrepreneurial thinking via Start-up Bootcamps and Sociopreneurship initiatives.
- Bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements through specialized training.
- Prepare students for global careers by improving technical, managerial, and cross-cultural skills.
The Training & Placement Cell of Dhole Patil College of Engineering, Pune successfully organized a Workshop on International Skilling Program on Tuesday, 29 July 2025 at the college seminar hall. The event was conducted in collaboration with Viswin Global and aimed to inform and inspire students about global learning opportunities, industry immersion programs, and international collaborations.
The session featured two distinguished speakers:
- Ms. Divya, Operations Head – Australia, Viswin Global
- Ms. Uma Ravishankar, Campus Coordinator – India, Viswin Global
The workshop introduced students to collaborative programs with prestigious partner institutions across Australia, Malaysia, Dubai, India (IITs, IIMs, BITS Pilani Group, Nirma Institute), Ireland, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka.

The speakers emphasized the value of global exposure, hands-on training, and interdisciplinary learning in shaping industry-ready graduates. They also discussed the structure, eligibility, and benefits of each program, highlighting how such experiences enhance technical knowledge, cultural adaptability, and employability.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from SE, TE, and BE students of all branches (AY 2025–2026), who actively engaged in discussions and clarified their queries regarding enrolment and program logistics.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Training & Placement Officer, appreciating the speakers for their insightful presentations and encouraging students to explore such transformative learning opportunities.
