Induction Program for E&TC Engineering students

Under the guidance of Hon. Chairman, Shri Sagar Dhole Patil, Dr. Abhijit Dandawate, Director DPCOE and Dr. Omprakash Rajankar, Principal DPCOE, Dhole Patil College of Engineering (DPCOE)’s Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department had conducted an Induction Program for all E&TC Engineering students. The program started with our principal sir as the keynote speaker of the event, respected Prof. Dr. Omprakash Rajankar. Sir explained nicely the Engineer’s lifecycle and also asked students to share feedback related to the same at the end. This was followed by the inauguration of the event by our H.O.D. Prof. Dr. B. E. Shinde. All the staff members of the E&TC department welcomed the students and shared their experience with them.
Firstly our H.O.D., Prof. Dr. B. E. Shinde introduced all students with the mentors of the department and explained the entire cycle of student’s roles and duties and their involvement in the department. Also he gave all students a virtual visit to labs and departmental activities. Next the class incharges S.E. – Prof. Mrunali Makwana, T.E. – Prof. Neha Dumne and B.E. – Prof. Snehal Khartad gave students a brief idea about their SPPU syllabus.
Prof. Prachi Deshpande – departmental exam and moodle coordinator gave students the importance of learning source and exams. Prof. Umesh Phiske- departmental library coordinator gave students knowledge on all resources available in the department. Followed by this there were 2 departmental clubs introduced and explained by respective club coordinators:
EESA coordinator- Prof. Mrunali Makwana
Robotics coordinator- Prof. Dhananjay Poul
Prof. Shailesh Jadhav- Training and Placement coordinator for the department made students aware of all Training and Placement activities followed in department as well as at Institute level. Lastly Prof. Dipanjali Padhi gave students a drive through different Institute level activities. The program ended by a vote of thanks shared by our H.O.D., Prof. Dr. B. E. Shinde followed by acknowledgement and feedback shared by all our students.
