Objectives:

To impart students with sufficient skills for HDL and DSP coding.

Context:

In today’s world it is a critical need to minimize the hardware size which is possible through using VLSI technology. In this lab students are made aware about the front end technology in VLSI design. Also we need high speed digital operation like filtering, arithmetic operations etc. DSP helps in achieving this objective. In this lab, students also learn the use of DSP functions.

Equipment:

This lab equipped with FPGA, DSP kits and software required to perform operation on the kits.
