Objectives:

The purpose of this lab is to understand basic theories of power electronics devices and to understand their characteristics.

Context:

Power electronics is a key aspect of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and this lab provides platform to the students to study the performance of power electronics devices. The experiments carried out in this lab are, VI characteristics of SCR, power MOSFET and speed control of DC motor, characteristics of chopper and converter.
