A hearty welcome to the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Dhole Patil College of Engineering, Pune.  The department runs an undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering, and two PG programs with Heat Power and Design Engineering as specialization. The department vision is to build versatile human resources in Mechanical Engineering with allied domains to nurture socio economic, educational and cultural requisites of society for sustainable development through innovations.The department has well qualified and dedicated faculty. The department strives to Impart knowledge and training of the highest standard.

The objective of the department is to develop skilled manpower in inter, intra and multidisciplinary domains with conformed quality and to explore innovations through collaborative learning and partnership with institutions, industries and research organizations. Department always provides strengthen Social Responsibilities for needs of the society and to augment knowledge and skills through Continuing Education Program for lifelong learning. Students have taken part in various competitions and won National Level top positions in SAE competitions like Go-kart, FFS India, Supra, Robocon, NPTEL & Internshala Activity.
