Program:
This program was organized by IT Department. The program started at 7.00 pm. Our guest were parents and chairman Shri. Sagar Dhole Patil, and Mrs. Uma Dhole Patil and all department staff and students with there parents were present also all the Ganesha devotee. The Aarti Started at 7.30 pm. The Facilitation of parent guest were done by chairman Shri. Sagar Dhole Patil, and Mrs. Uma Dhole Patil . Mahaprasad was served to all them. All the people who attended that Program enjoyed most. Programmed actively arranged and handled by all the faculty members of DPCOE and IT department. Many students and faculty actively participated in the event.
We are glad to announce that our Department of Information Technology of Dhole Patil College of Engineering has conducted an Interactive Session on “Project Based Learning” dated on 13th March 2024 for Second Year Students.
Overview: Purpose behind the conduction of session was to gain the knowledge of Project Based Learning concepts, identification of area implementation and execution of projects.
Scheduled and Orientation: The expert talk on Project based learning was delivered by Hon. Director, DPES Dr.Abhijit Dandavate. He started session by covering the basic concepts related to Project Based Learning. Dr.Abhijit Dandavate has given a useful insight on concept of Project based learning, Identification of area implementation and execution of projects. The session was quite interactive. Overall the session was very well appreciated by the students.
At the end of the expert talk, doubt clearing session conducted wherein students had an interaction with the expert.

Overview:
Dr. Abhijit Dandavate, the Director of Dhole Patil Education Society, initiated the meeting by giving overview on the overall efforts taken by institute for holistic development of students. Dr. B. M. Shinde, Principal of Dhole Patil College of Engineering discussed improved result of SE Information Technology Department.
Prof. Rahul Ghode (HoD IT) provided an overview of the curriculum and highlighted key subjects and topics that would be covered in the remaining period.

Overall, the interaction between Hon. Chairman Sir and the second year students was productive and informative. The students left the meeting with a better understanding of their future prospects and a sense of support from the institute.

Argade & Resource Person was Mr. Atul Phad, Consulting Project Head & Mrs. Rachna Chavan, Center Manager from SEED Infotech Ltd., Pune. The event aimed to offer students a practical insights into the IT job market and hands-on experience in web application development.

Mr.Atul Phad and Mrs.Rachna Chavan outlined the agenda, focusing on teams developing an online shopping system with specific functionalities.
Under expert guidance, students began developing the application, receiving support as needed throughout the day. Students submitted their projects via GitHub for evaluation, concluding the activity. Experts praised students for diverse technology use and innovative approaches, noting satisfactory outcomes.

Department of Information Technology, DPCOE, Pune celebrated Ganesh Utsav at Dhole Patil Ganpati Mandir on 20th of September, 2023. The celebration began with traditional puja ceremonies performed by our alumni student and parents, invoking Lord Ganesha’s blessings and evening aarti was conducted by our Hon. Chairman Shri. Sagar Dhole Patil and Secretary Uma Sagar Dhole Patil with the participation of parents, students and staff. Both departments such as Smart Cities Exhibition, Food stalls, organized a series of cultural events and activities.

A Triangular Celebration: Engineer’s Day, Teacher’s Day, and Induction program for SE students
On September 15, 2023, Dhole Patil College of Engineering IT Department embarked on a unique celebration, bringing together Engineer’s Day, Teacher’s Day and Induction program for SE students into a single event.
