Keeping in mind the importance of Guru Purnima in our culture, we had a very humbling experience to be addressed by CA Prakash Pathak, Chairman-Bhonsla Military School Nashik who gave a motivational talk in these difficult times where all our students, faculty and parents are living away from social interaction. Overcoming learning challenges, and absorbing as much as we can from our teachers with some hard-hitting examples, made this talk really special for us.

Blessed to have our DPES Chairman, Mr. Sagar Dhole Patil preside over the event. Honoured to also be joined by Dr. Rajendra Hiremath, Chairman- Synergy Infrasys Management Pvt Ltd. A heart-warming vote of thanks by DPCOE Principal, Dr. Nihar Walimbe.

Dhole Patil College of Engineering, Pune witnessed the celebration of the 72nd Republic Day on the 26th January, 2021. Students, Staff, Faculty members and Parents filled with a feeling of patriotism and enthusiasm gathered in front of the Dhole Patil  Ganpati Mandir. The program started with the hoisting of the National Flag by Chief Guest Shri. Ramkrushna Satav, Member, Pune District Planning Committee, Dr. Nihar Walimbe, Principal, DPCOE, Dr. Anuradha Iyer  Principal, DPSE and Prof. V.B. Gaikwad , Principal DPACS followed by the National Anthem.

Principal Dr. Nihar Walimbe highlighted the significance of the Constitution and its inimitable features such as Secular, Self-governing, Socialist, Republic and Democratic preserved in the preface of the constitution. The speech was followed by various other cultural programs such as poetry, singing, group dance performed by the students, giving a glance of the diversity in unity of the nation.  The program ended with the message to create a great nation through collective efforts from all individual.

DPCoE has organized International Conference on Advances in Engineering and Technology Management-ICAETM2020

All the Departments of the Dhole Patil College of Engineering, Pune, together has organised an International Conference on Advances in Engineering and Technology Management (ICAEM-2020) on 09th July 2020. This conference was self sponsored. Hon. Chairman, DPES Mr. Sagar Dhole Patil and Secretory, DPES Mrs. Uma Sagar Dhole Patil were the Chief Patrons of the Conference.

The Conference was inaugurated in the auspicious presence of

  • Ms. Kumari Martha, International Advisor, USA and MD DPCOE.
  • Dr. Rajendra Hiremath, Chairman, Synergy Infrasys Managment PVT.LTD,

  • The General Chair, Dr. Nihar Walimbe

  • The Technical chair Dr. Vidya Bhandwalkar

Dr. Nihar Walimbe welcomed the delegates and participants of the conference. He had given brief information about the DPCoE to the delegates and discussed about the objective of the conference. He, encouraged the budding researchers to present their unpublished work through such conferences.

Dr. Omprakash Rajankar explores the Scope and Status of the Conference and extended thanks to all involved in the conference.

Special thanks given to the Hon. Chairman Shri Sagar U. Dhole Patil and Hon. Secretary Mrs Uma Sagar Dhole Patil, DPES for wholehearted support. He also guided participants about conference and made them aware of the review process implemented during this conference.

Department of Automobile Engineering, Dhole Patil College of Engineering, Pune organized  online webinar on “Intellectual Property Rights – All You Must Know About IP With Focus On Patent” on 13th May, 2020. This webinar was well coordinated by Prof. Ratnadip Bhorge and approximately 171 faculty members, students and other staff members have participated in the webinar.

Graduation Day ceremony

Dhole Patil College of Engineering, Pune, organized Graduation Day Ceremony in the institute premises on Wednesday, 29th January 2020. The objective of organizing the ceremony was to give an opportunity to all graduated students to come back to college once again, relive their old memories and get connected with the institution. All the guests and students were addressed by Dr. Nihar Walimbe, Principal, DPCOE, Pune. Chief Guest, Dr. Vilas Ugale (Management Council member, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune,) expressed his happiness towards the institute for organizing this activity and advised students to focus on skill development and enhance their interpersonal skills. Vote of thanks was given by Prof. D.R. Kotkar. The graduate students were awarded by Chief Guest, Dr. Vilas Ugale, Hon. Secretary Mrs. Uma Dhole Patil, Principal, CEO and HODs. The ceremony was ended with the National Anthem. All the faculty teaching and non-teaching staff were present for the ceremony. Total 304 students were awarded with their Graduation Degree by the dignitaries.

Blood Donation Camp was organized in Dhole Patil College of Engineering, Pune

On the occasion of Birthday of Hon. Chairman Sagar U.Dhole Patil, A Blood Donation Camp was organized in Dhole Patil College of Engineering, Pune on 24th February 2020. The program was inaugurated with ribbon cutting by the chief guest Chairman Hon. Sagar U. Dhole Patil. Many students participated in the camp; they collected 255 blood bags and donated blood as well. The Chairman told audience that blood donation must be used for saving the lives of the injured and sick patients. We should encourage people and society for participating in blood donation activities and create awareness about blood donation among them.

Ms. Amruta Karvande (Brand Ambassador , NSS ) also addressed the audience saying that the blood donation does not weaken the donators. The recovery takes place very soon. She talked about Blood Groups related information. Dr. Nihar Walimbe, Principal, DPCOE also awarded certificates to the blood donators and addressed the students. Under The Guidance of Chairman Shri. Sagar Dhole Patil and Secretary  Smt. Uma S. Dhole Patil, Blood Donation Camp was successfully organized by Prof. Shrikant Jagtap (NSS Programme Officer, DPCOE) and Students.

DPCoE has organized one day seminar on “Stress Management through Music Therapy “

The Counseling Department of Dhole Patil College of Engineering has organized a one day seminar on “Stress Management through Music Therapy “on 17th December, 2019 at its campus. The Speaker for the seminar was Dr. Santosh Ghatpande. The event started with Guest Felicitation by Chairman Shri Sagar Dhole Patil and Secretary Smt. Uma S. Dhole Patil  in the presence of Principal Dr. Nihar Walimbe and all faculty members.

Dr. Santosh shared his view and experience and told all that Listening to music can have a tremendously relaxing effect on our minds and bodies, especially slow, quiet classical music. Music, in short, can act as a powerful stress management tool in our lives. The program was coordinated by College Professional Counselor Mrs. Kanchaana Desai.

Training and Placement cell of DPCOE proudly announces placement of 5 students from 2019-20 batch. In that 4 students from Automobile Engineering and 1 student from Mechanical Engineering in Eleation Company on 9 Nov, 2019 with 3.4 Lac/Annum Package. Hon. Chairman Shri Sagar Dhole Patil, Principal Prof. Dr. Nihar Walimbe, T&P Dept., faculty members whole heartedly congratulates the students for their efforts.
