Expert Lecture on Electronics Circuits

Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department conducted Expert lecture for second year E&TC students.Prof. V. B. Raskar, from School of Electrical and Communication Sciences, JSPM University, Pune, delivered every informative and Knowledgeable expert session on “Operational Amplifier and Analog Computer” to the students on Tuesday 28^th November 2023.

The expert speaker delivered very basic and important concepts of operational amplifier. Also explained integrator and differentiator circuits with design procedure and their frequency responses. Content Delivered by speaker were appreciated by the students.

At the end vote of thanks was given by Prof. Archana Khedkar for delivering useful lecture which will benefit our students in future definitely.

Here are some key characteristics of a hackathon conducted on 07/10/2023 and 08/10/2023 for 24 Hrs :

Time-Limited: Hackathons have a set duration, which can vary from a few hours (known as “mini-hackathons”) to a weekend or even longer. Participants must work quickly and efficiently to produce a result within the allotted time.
Focus on Problem-Solving: Participants often tackle real-world problems, challenges, or projects during hackathons. These challenges can be related to technology, social issues, business innovation, or any other field.
Teamwork: Participants can work individually or form teams to collaborate on their projects. Teamwork encourages diverse skills and perspectives to solve complex problems.

MoU Signed on 08/10/2023 between Dhole Patil College of Engineering, Computer Engineering Department, Pune and Brain O Vision, Hyderabad

Purpose/Scope of the Collaboration:

a)BRAINOVISION will conduct technical training programs, Workshops and guest lectures for both the faculty and the students of the college in College Premises /Online /Brainovision Office

b)BRAINOVISION will provide Technology training and technical support for executing outsourced projects at the college.

c)College will extend the services of their library, laboratories with Computers in fully functional state, Internet facilities for training and development on various Technologies.

d)The first party will offer the online technical tests for free throughout the year for the registered students.

The Department of Computer Engineering is organizing a 5 Days WORKSHOP + 24 Hours HACKATHON on DATA SCIENCE at Dhole Patil college of Engineering premises for 1 week.

In the 5 Days Workshop We will be having the complete training on the topics of PYTHON, DATA SCIENCE AND ML which helps a lot in the placements.

Department of E&TC and Civil presented a live show of “Shivaji Maharaj with their 12 Balutedar (professions)”. Shivaji Maharaj’s implementation of the 12 Balutedar system was a strategic move to ensure effective governance and the smooth functioning of his empire. It helped in maintaining law and order, securing the forts, and managing various administrative functions. This system played a significant role in the success and stability of the Maratha Empire during Shivaji’s reign and beyond.

The “12 Balutedar” system was an administrative structure introduced by Shivaji Maharaj in his kingdom. This system aimed to ensure the efficient management of forts and other administrative functions. The term “Balutedar” refers to a group of twelve hereditary officers who held important positions in the local administration. These officers were responsible for various tasks related to fort maintenance, security, and logistics.

Ganesh Utsav 2023

Department of Computer Engineering DPCOE, Pune celebrated Ganesh Utsav at Dhole Patil Ganpati Mandir on 20th of September, 2023. The celebration began with traditional puja ceremonies performed by our alumni students and parents, invoking Lord Ganesha’s blessings and evening aarti was conducted by our Hon. Chairman Shri. Sagar Dhole Patil and Secretary Uma Sagar Dhole Patil with the participation of parents, students and staff. A series of cultural events and activities were organized by both departments such as Smart Cities Exhibition, Food stalls and Dance performances.

The Ganpati Utsav celebration was indeed a grand success, thanks to the tireless efforts of students, faculty, and staff. It provided a platform for students to showcase their talents, imbibe cultural values, and engage in social service. The event fostered a sense of unity, spirituality, and eco-consciousness among the college community.

Ganesh Utsav Celebration 2023

Under the thoughtful vision and valuable guidance of Hon. Chairman Sir Sagar Dhole Patil and Secretory Mrs.Uma Dhole Patil, E&TC Department has celebrated the Ganesh Utsav successfully. The Shree Ganesh Aarati organized by the E&TC Engineering Department on Sunday 24th September 2023, was a harmonious blend of religious traditions, culture, and patriotism. The Shree Ganesh Aarati is a Hindu religious ceremony dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the god of new beginnings. It is performed with devotion and fervor. The temple was nicely decorated and the ambiance was divine. The student and staff members of E&TC Department played musical chair game after morning aarati. The morning function was started with Ganesh Pooja followed by Ganesh Arti.

The evening Aarti performed with the presence of Mr. Dipak Patekar, Deputy General Manager, MKCL, Pune, was the esteemed guest for the evening Aarati. He is a distinguished figure in the field of technical education, known for his contributions to shaping the educational landscape in the Pune region. Then felicitation of parents was done by Prof. Prachi Deshpande, Prof. Snehal Khartad, Prof. Dipanjali Padhi, Prof.Neha Dumne and Dr. B.E Shinde. Many students were present for the function.
