The departments of Dhole Patil College of Engineering Has organized a parents Interactive session with Hon. Chairman Sir  for parents of BE & TE students on 24^th & 25^th July 23 at Auditorium Hall of DPCOE. The Parents were intimated about the meeting well in advance.

Purpose:  

The main purpose of meet was to create a common platform, where teacher and parents come together to enrich the student’s educational experiences and discuss variety of issues, regarding all-round development of students.  

Minutes of Meeting:

• General information about Departmental facilities and strategies planned for this academic year was explained.
• Parents are provided with updates on their child’s academic progress, behavior, and overall development. Different co-ordinatinators also shared important announcements and upcoming events.
• The principal ( Dr. B.M Shinde) provided updates on the overall performance and achievements of the college. They shared information about the college’s rankings, awards, and recognition received in various fields. The principal also discussed new initiatives and programs being introduced to enhance the educational experience for students.
• Omprakash Rajankar spoke about the academic curriculum in details with TG scheme, projects of last year.
• Abhijeet Dandavate addressed about extra curriculum Activities, different clubs  and Moodle information.
• During the parents’ meeting, the Hon Chairman sir also emphasized the importance of providing moral support to students. They discussed the college’s commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. They encouraged parents to maintain open lines of communication with their children, listen to their concerns, and provide guidance and encouragement when needed.
• Arati Dandavate emphasized the importance of open lines of communication between teachers and parents. They highlighted the role of teachers in providing updates on students’ progress, addressing any concerns or issues, and working collaboratively with parents to support their child’s academic and emotional development.
• Parents also had questions about the college policies and procedures, such as discipline and safety measures. All the dignitaries on the dias assured parents that the college has strict policies in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all students. They explained the disciplinary process and emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive and respectful learning environment.

Parents Feedback:

• Overall, parents felt heard and supported during the parents’ meeting and were satisfied with the Institute. They left the meeting feeling confident in the College curriculum, policies, and commitment to their wards well-being.
• Take more effort for campus placement in Multinational companies.
• Give proper direction and motivation to students about career development after Graduation.
