Event Name : FDP on “Enhanced Pedagogy to Teach Coding” in Association with CodeTantra Tech Solutions

Training and Placement cell and Department of Computer Engineering arranged Faculty development Program on Enhanced Pedagogy to Teach Coding in associating with CodeTantra Tech Solutions.

CodeTantra is a tech-startup company which has developed a Cloud Based Automated Programming Tutor that builds coding abilities through an interactive, learn by doing methodology.Mr. Tomesh Jain and Bhushan Mahendrakar from CodeTantra have given demonstration of Cloud Based Automated Programming Platform specially designed to teach coding. Also they have explained application and advantages of using CodeTantra Cloud Based Automated Programming platform in details.

FDP was very integrative and helpful for the faculty members to get knowledge about enhanced pedagogy.  Students will easily understand programming language concepts by Cloud based automated programming platform.The overall Management of the seminar was done by Prof. Sneha Deshmukh and Prof. Rahul Udata.

Department of Computer Engineering conducted Two Days Events on NEP-2020 for all Faculty members and Students with reference to the NEP-2020 Awareness week (24/07/2023-28/07/2023) proposed by SPPU.

On 26^th July, 2023, department organized an Expert Session on “NEP-2020”and the resource person for the session was Dr. Aarti A. Dandavate, HOD, Department of Computer Engineering. The expert session was organized for all the students of DPCOE and total 63 students attended the session.
The main focus of the Event was to give insights:
1.      Importance of education
2.      Difficulties in structuring a World Class Education in India
3.      NEP Vision and its highlights
4.      Role and purpose of Higher Education
5.      New Institutional Architecture-NEP 2020
6.      Advantages and Drawbacks of NEP-2020
On 27^th July, 2023, department organized short video/reels making drive for students where students have made short videos on NEP-2020 and videos are uploaded on department YouTube Channel https://youtube.com/@dpcoe-computerengg

Department of Computer Engineering, Dhole Patil College of Engineering organized a Workshop on “Blockchain Technology” for the BE Students. The Program was conducted on 12/08/2023. Resource person for the Workshop was from Social Continent training Ms. Aditi Polkam.

The main focus of the workshop was to get the students explore the field of Blockchain Technology. Following Topics were covered during workshop

·         Digital Signatures and Demo of Blockchain Tools

Ms. Aditi Polkam shared her expertise by delivering the lecture on the topic of “Blockchain Technology”. The overall Management of the Session was completed under the guidance of Dr. Aarti Dandavate, HOD, Computer Engineering and it as coordinated by Prof. Archana Priyadarshni .

Dhole Patil College of Engineering, Pune Department of Computer Engineering,  organized a Event SE  Audit Course  Expert Lecture on  “Science of Happiness” for the second year students of Computer Engg on 25 march 2023 . The main focus of the Event was to give insights how to be happy.

Around 92 students attended program

The overall Management of the Session was completed under the guidance of HOD Dr. Arati Dandwate and coordinated by Coordinators Prof. Priyanka Yeotikar and Prof. Pratush Jadoun and the technical support by  Amol Bhujbal and Other staff members  .

Department of computer engineering of Dhole Patil College of Engineering organized two day workshop on cyber security under “Cyber Security Club” on 8/2/2023 to 9/2/2023 for first year newly joined club member.
