Educational and Cultural Visit to Shivsrushti Theme Park

Participating Students: SE,TE,BE E&TC and Shivdurg Samiti Engineering Department .
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, along with the students of Shivdurg Committee, organized an educational and cultural visit to Shivsrushti Theme Park located at Ambegaon, Pune
A total of 114 students, accompanied by 6 dedicated faculty members, actively participated in this enriching and memorable excursion.
Purpose and Highlights of the Visit:
The main aim of this visit was to help students learn about the history and achievements of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in an interactive and engaging way. The theme park provided a captivating and immersive experience that portrayed various significant events from the life of the great Maratha warrior.
Activities and Learning Highlights
- Students exploredmodels of famous forts built or captured by Shivaji Maharaj, such as Raigad, Pratapgad, Kenjalgad, Devgiri, Rajgad and Sinhagad. Each fort had information about its history and importance.
- A specialaudio-visual show in the voice of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj explained what they did for Swaraj and encouraged today’s youth to be responsible, brave, and patriotic.
- Students visited theBhavani Mata temple inside the theme park. Shivaji Maharaj was a strong devotee of Goddess Bhavani, and the temple reminded students of the spiritual strength behind his actions.
- Guides at the park explained thelife journey of Shivaji Maharaj, from his childhood to his coronation, military campaigns, and administrative skills.
Outcome of the Visit:
The visit served as an eye opener for students, helping them connect with the rich heritage of Maharashtra and the enduring legacy of one of India’s greatest leaders. It fostered a sense of patriotism, self-discipline, and respect for Indian history and culture. All participants thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated this unique learning experience.
