Birth Anniversary of “Shri. Srinivasa Ramanujan” was celebrated as National Mathematics Day in Dhole Patil College of Engineering Pune, with great enthusiasm on Saturday, 22 December 2018.

Prof. Dnyaneshwar Magar delivered a short speech narrating the contribution of “Shri.Srinivasa Ramanujan” in mathematics. Prof. Ashok Thombre gave speech on real life application of mathematics as a interactive section. Prof. Kailas Chavan of Computer Engineering Department explained the Magic Square of “Srinivasa Ramanujan ” based on his birth date. After that the Principal Dr. Nihar Walimbe told some logical incident of “Srinivasa Ramanujan” in his life and some application of mathematics in engineering. First Year Department of Dhole Patil College of Engineering felicitated all Mathematics faculties. On this occasion short film based on “Srinivasa Ramanujan ” was shown. Prof. Nitin Kharat concluded the program.
